The Performers

Smilin’ Rylan writes and performs catchy, fun and honest children’s music in every style imaginable – loved by kids, supported by teachers and approved by parents. With a background in education, he brings together universal themes, important lessons and great music. Smilin’ Rylan grew up in a town called Hay River way up in the Northwest Territories, but now lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He’s a multi-instrumentalist who graduated university with degrees in Music and Education. Smilin’ Rylan has been working with kids for many years – he coaches several sports and has taught fine arts & physical education to kids in almost every grade. He’s also a strong advocate for curing kids of “nature-deficit disorder,” and he’s a new dad!   www.smilinrylan.com

  • He began his lifelong ambition at the mere age of 13, with his first show for a local library in Kanata Ontario, his hometown.  ​
    The world-renowned herpetologist, Dr. Francis Cook of Ottawa’s Museum of Natural Sciences, mentored Jeff’s love for reptiles and amphibians. Jeff acted as Director of Education at a CAZA accredited facility, and as an in-field researcher in Central America where he visits once a year through the winter. These visits also offer him further insight and updated video footage to bring back home and to share his new experiences with his audiences, through his exciting and interactive show.  www.safarijeff.ca

Throughout the park you will see face painting stations, get a little something done. (Stations close 1/2hr before park closes)

Box City

Join us in this cardboard box and be part of the creation of our own box community. Children will enjoy the opportunity to paint and create.

Snack Stops

There are several throughout the park that you can stop by and get a piece of fruit, a quick snack and water. Remember to bring your water bottle!
